![]() Hopefully they learned something from this misadventure. Naturally, the kids were incredibly amused at Mom’s dietary screw-up. I was going to get a 50-calorie fudge bar, then uttered those tragic words - “Oh, what the heck” - and decided at the last minute to order a Buster Bar instead.īoy, was that a mistake: It turns out that a Buster Bar, with all those peanuts and fudge sauce under that chocolate coating, contains a jaw-dropping 480 calories and 14 Weight Watchers points plus.įor the exact same amount of calories/points, I could’ve had TWO Dilly Bars AND TWO low fat/no sugar added fudge bars. I’m showing these off at Tidy Mom’s I’m Lovin It party.Tuesdays are the day I let myself indulge a bit, so when we saw it was Dairy Queen’s last half-price sale of the winter, the kids and I decided to stop for a small treat. This should release them from the cups easily.ĭip the bars (a large yogurt container works well for this) or spread chocolate onto the ice cream bars. ![]() If they don’t release easily, run them under cool water for a few seconds. To remove the ice cream bars from the cups, give them a gentle squeeze. Pour chocolate chips and vegetable oil in a microwave safe bowl. Scoop more ice cream over the fudge and peanuts, tamping it smooth with the ice cream scoop. Add a dollop of hot fudge on top of the ice cream. Tamp it down smooth with the end of the ice cream scoop. Dip 1″ or 1 1/2″ of ice cream into the bottom of each cup.
